The Zamfara State Government, through its Information Technology Development Agency (ZITDA), has officially unveiled the Zamfara Digital Literacy Framework (ZDLF), marking Nigeria’s first comprehensive, state-level initiative to mainstream digital skills among all residents. The framework — revealed during a high-level stakeholder engagement in January 2025 — aims to embed digital literacy across primary and secondary schools, uplift civil service capacity, and support workforce readiness through public and private sector collaboration
Complementing this, Zamfara recently partnered with Oracle under Oracle University’s Skills Development Initiative, integrating over 200 hours of digital courses and certification opportunities for students and professionals. The initiative, backed by resources from Oracle Academy and ZITDA, emphasizes technology fields such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data science, and APEX development — positioning Zamfara to become a national
