Ghana’s Defence Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, has announced plans to recruit 12,000 new personnel. The recruits will train at the Army Recruits Training School and the Ghana Military Academy.This move is part of efforts to strengthen national security and military capacity.
Dr. Boamah assured the public that the recruitment process will be transparent and fair. He stressed that enlistment is not for sale under his leadership. The minister made this announcement during a visit to military installations within the 1 Garrison. He also inspected medical facilities and assessed the troops’ readiness for explosive threats. Dr. Boamah praised the Armed Forces for their professionalism and commitment to Ghana’s security.
