BSIC Togo Rises to 6th Place Among Banks

BSIC Togo’s balance sheet reached 331 billion FCFA by June 2025. This marks strong growth from 207 billion FCFA in 2022. The bank has now moved from 8th to 6th position among Togo’s 15 commercial banks. Its market share stands at 6.7%, according to its general manager, Tjima Diabate. BSIC has launched a digital platform to improve remote banking services. Customer deposits and loans were 161 billion and 115 billion FCFA respectively at the end of 2024. Net Banking Income rose from 4.7 billion in 2020 to 6.5 billion in 2022. The bank aims to break into the top 5 after returning to profitability. It faces stiff competition from leaders like Orabank and Ecobank.
