Infinity Power has signed two deals to build solar plants in Côte d’Ivoire. The projects in Touba and Laboa will supply power to over 400,000 people. They were awarded after a competitive tender supervised by state agencies. The World Bank’s IFC advised the government during the process. The plants will connect to the grid via 17 km of transmission lines. They are expected to cut over 60,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.
The plan supports Côte d’Ivoire’s push for cleaner and more reliable energy. Officials say it will boost production, resilience, and local investment.
