Kasada Capital Management has launched a new $17 million hotel in Abidjan’s Angré district.
The 170-room facility includes coworking spaces and a conference center. It is Kasada’s fifth project in Côte d’Ivoire, financed through the Africa Go Green fund. Since its founding in 2018, Kasada has raised over $500 million for African hospitality projects. Its portfolio spans about 20 hotels across eight countries under brands like Mövenpick, Pullman, and Ibis.
The Abidjan project reflects a Gulf-led push into Africa’s growing tourism sector. Wealth funds from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE are expanding mid-market and luxury hotels in stable African cities. Analysts say such investments could reshape the continent’s tourism infrastructure if sustained despite political risks.
