Togo Employers Back Junior Enterprises

In Lomé, the Confederation of Junior Enterprises of Togo (CJET) has signed a five-year renewable partnership with the National Council of Employers of Togo (CNP-Togo). The deal, sealed on September 26, 2025, links young entrepreneurs with established companies.

CNP-Togo pledged to defend the interests of youth-led businesses with decision-makers. It will also help them access markets through mentoring, tutoring, and subcontracting. A joint CJET–CNP quality label will be created to boost the visibility of supported firms. CJET president Médissa Sama said the agreement offers fragile startups much-needed structure and credibility.

CNP-Togo’s president, Coami Tamegnon, stressed the role of youth in driving innovation and job creation. CJET has previously partnered with CCI-Togo and the Union of Regional Chambers of Trades.
