GOIL warns public against online scams

The Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) has warned the public about fake social media posts and websites using its name. According to GOIL, these online adverts promoting investment schemes are completely false.

The company said it has not launched any programme that promises monthly returns on shares or cards. It explained that anyone using GOIL’s name, logo, or image for such promotions is committing fraud. GOIL advised people to ignore these scams and avoid sharing personal information with the promoters. For correct updates, the company urged the public to use only its official website and social media pages.

The company said it remains committed to offering safe and reliable products to customers. GOIL ended its message with the advice, “Verify First. Stay Vigilant.”
