The Togolese Revenue Office (OTR) will hold a public auction on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Customs Operations Directorate of Lomé Port. Thirteen containers of assorted goods, either abandoned or seized, will be sold to the highest bidders.
The auction starts at 9:30 a.m. and payments must be made in cash with a 12% surcharge. Interested buyers must pay a non-refundable registration fee of 25,000 FCFA before the sale. The event is open to all economic operators and the general public. OTR says the exercise helps clear port stocks and generate extra income for the treasury. Such auctions are held regularly to ensure efficient customs management.
