Togo Introduces New Code for Free Zone Imports

Farmers and fishermen along the Gbodjomé–Sanvee-Condji coast received new equipment last week. The support was delivered in Aného on December 5 through the WACA resilience project. They received outboard motors, life jackets and solar irrigation kits. The irrigation kits will help gardeners get more water for their crops. The motors and life jackets will make fishing easier and safer. A total of 214 people benefited from the distribution.

The support is part of broader efforts to protect coastal communities from climate impacts. WACA, funded by the World Bank, is also building coastal protection works in the area.
