Nagodé Transfert has added 60 new buses to expand its services. The fleet was launched at a public ceremony in Lomé on April 18. The company says rising passenger demand is driving growth in the transport sector. The buses, supplied by Yutong, include luxury coaches and logistics vehicles. Nagodé plans to improve travel comfort and make freight movement more efficient.
New regional routes to Cotonou and Ouagadougou have already been announced. An express service between Lomé and Abidjan is also being considered. The expansion comes as formal transport companies try to compete with informal operators like motorcycle taxis in Togo.
