Ghana and the United Kingdom have signed a £215 million Growth Partnership aimed at boosting trade, investment and economic cooperation. The agreement was highlighted during the Ghana–UK Investment Summit in London. Government officials said the partnership will support business growth, job creation and industrial development. Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa described the initiative as an important step in strengthening economic ties between the two countries. The programme is expected to attract new investments into key sectors of the Ghanaian economy.
Business leaders welcomed the move as a signal of growing investor confidence. The partnership also reflects Ghana’s shift toward trade and investment-driven development. Discussions on expanding economic opportunities between Accra and London are expected to continue in the coming months.
