CCI-Togo Backs Kara Agro-Project Growth

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Togo (CCI-Togo) is backing the Kara pilot agro-pole project. Officials met with project managers in Kara on August 4 to discuss progress and goals.

The project focuses on crops like rice, maize, soybeans, cashew, sesame, and poultry. It aims to boost local food production, create jobs, and reduce poverty. After the meeting, the CCI-Togo team toured the construction site. They saw ongoing infrastructure work to support food processing.

CCI-Togo’s president called on investors to explore the project’s benefits. The agro-pole has been active since 2022 and continues to expand.
