The Minister said several programmes are underway to improve food security nationwide. He highlighted efforts to promote sustainable farming practices across different regions.
Support schemes for farmers are being expanded to improve production. He noted progress in strengthening value chains for key crops. Investments in irrigation and modern farming technologies were also mentioned. He said these initiatives are helping to advance the country’s agricultural sector.
