The Ghana Education Service has warned WASSCE candidates against examination malpractices. Offenders risk 12 to 15 years in jail and cancellation of results. Over 2,100 students are writing the exams in Dormaa Central. The candidates come from four Senior High Schools in the area. Police and supervisors are enforcing a ban on mobile phones. Strict monitoring is in place to stop the use of Artificial Intelligence.
Officials say the exams are so far running smoothly. More girls are writing this year, boosted by free SHS and sanitary pad support.
