Mahama Nominates New Ghanaian Ambassadors

President John Mahama has nominated new ambassadors to represent Ghana abroad. The list includes experienced politicians, diplomats, and professionals.

Mona Quartey will serve as ambassador to Italy, and Dr. Kwame Ampofo goes to Hungary. Paul Evans Aidoo is heading to Kenya, while Magnus Amoatey goes to DR Congo. Attah Kojo Choi, once a refugee, will represent Ghana in South Korea. Other nominees include Harruna for Namibia, Akibate for Burkina Faso, and Sinare for Saudi Arabia.

These appointments follow consultations with the Council of State. The nominees will face vetting before officially taking office.
