Two players in Côte d’Ivoire have won over 65 million FCFA in lottery prizes. The National Lottery of Ivory Coast (LONACI) awarded the prizes on July 8, 2025.
Winners MAM and MDS chose to stay anonymous during the ceremony in Marcory. MAM won over 41 million FCFA by betting 400 FCFA on the June 29 Quinté+ race. MDS won nearly 24 million FCFA after betting 1,800 FCFA on the July 7 race. The combined total of 65.6 million FCFA (€100,085) is among LONACI’s biggest payouts.
LONACI highlighted the ease of playing via mobile phone or internet. In 2024, LONACI paid out 288 billion FCFA in total winnings to players.
