WFP Suspends Food Aid to Nigerian Refugees

The World Food Programme has suspended food assistance to over 70,000 Nigerian refugees in northern Cameroon due to funding shortages. Many of these refugees fled Boko Haram insurgency and rely entirely on external aid.

WFP warned that without urgent support, malnutrition among children and pregnant women will spike. Aid groups are calling on donors to prioritize West African refugee crises, which are often overlooked globally.
