Air Côte d’Ivoire is getting ready to receive its first Airbus A330-900neo. The aircraft took its first test flight on August 4, 2025, from Toulouse in France. A video shared on August 11 showed its new paintwork and take-off. It is the first of two widebody planes ordered by the airline in 2022. Delivery was delayed from 2024 but is now expected soon.
The plane will seat 242 passengers in four classes. It will first serve the Abidjan to Paris route, with plans for flights to New York, Brussels, and London. This marks the airline’s entry into long-haul travel beyond West Africa.
