A handover ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abidjan. Kaba Nialé officially took office as the new Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
She succeeds Léon Kacou Adom, who previously led the ministry. Senior government officials and diplomats attended the ceremony. In her address, the new minister outlined key diplomatic priorities. She emphasised stronger international cooperation and regional integration.
Protecting Ivorians abroad was highlighted as a major focus. The transition marked a new phase in Côte d’Ivoire’s diplomatic leadership.
