Ghana’s Parliament has agreed to visa waivers with four countries. These are Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, Colombia, and Dominica. People with diplomatic, service, or ordinary passports can now travel more easily. The aim is to boost trade, tourism, education, and farming. A report in Parliament said the deals will strengthen partnerships.
The Foreign Affairs Minister said Ghana won’t lose much money from visa fees. He believes the benefits will help Ghana’s economy grow. The plan also hopes to bring the countries closer together.
