Ghana’s inflation rate fell to 6.3% in November 2025, down from 8.0% in October. The latest CPI report attributes the decline to lower food and non-food prices.
Food inflation dropped sharply from 9.5% to 6.6% within a month. Non-food inflation also eased, falling to 6.1% from the previous 6.9%. Services sector inflation declined further to 3.8% from 4.6%. The North East Region recorded the highest inflation rate, while Savannah posted the lowest.
Inflation for locally produced items and goods also slowed significantly. Businesses are encouraged to use the low-inflation environment to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
