President John Dramani Mahama has left Accra for official visits to Japan and Singapore. The trip aims to boost bilateral ties, trade, and investment opportunities.
In Japan, he will attend the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD IX). He is scheduled to speak on promoting trade and investment and address a Ghana Investment Forum. President Mahama will also meet with Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and heads of JICA and JETRO. Talks will focus on trade, infrastructure, and technical cooperation.
In Singapore, he will meet President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. He will also attend the Africa-Singapore Business Forum and hold investment discussions.
