Wang Min officially assumed her duties as Chinese ambassador to Togo on July 29, 2025. She presented her credentials to President Jean-Lucien Kwassi Lanyo Savi de Tové in Lomé. Her mission will focus on boosting China-Togo ties under a comprehensive strategic partnership. This follows agreements made during the 2024 FOCAC Summit in Beijing. Wang Min pledged to deepen cooperation and promote shared development goals. Key areas of focus include infrastructure, health, agriculture, education, and renewable energy. She also aims to increase Chinese investments and support scholarships for Togolese students. Both countries are committed to long-term collaboration.
