Togo and Morocco have expanded their cooperation to include the construction and public works sector. On September 23, 2025, in Rabat, their construction federations signed a new framework agreement.
The deal was signed by Yawo Tsogbo of GNEBTP and Mohammed Mahboub of FNBTP. It seeks to make construction a driver of inclusive growth in both countries. The partnership will foster exchanges through forums, trade missions, and technical visits. It also promotes research, innovation, sustainable engineering, and use of local materials.
Morocco’s Fez Construction Training Institute will provide technical support to Togo. This agreement adds to recent partnerships in fertilizers, investment, and renewable energy.
