Lomé will host the second edition of Maritimafrica Week from September 10 to 12, 2025. The international forum will focus on Africa’s blue economy under the theme “A radiant blue future in Africa.”
This grande event will take place at the Sarakawa Hotel and gather public officials, civil society, experts, businesses, and international partners. Key topics include maritime governance, port safety, logistics performance, and digital transformation of African ports. The program features exhibitions, technical panels, B2B meetings, and guided tours of the Autonomous Port of Lomé. As the only deep-water port in the sub-region, Togo will showcase its strategic role in maritime trade.
The opening conference will address governance and policies for an integrated blue economy in Africa. This follows the success of the first Maritimafrica Week, also held in Lomé in 2023.
