The European Union has launched the #ActTogether campaign in Togo to showcase the real impact of its partnership with the Togolese government. The campaign, part of the EU’s Global Gateway strategy, was unveiled in Lomé on October 27, 2025.
It aims to highlight success stories and community benefits through stories, visuals, and testimonials. For three months, it will run on national television, radio, newspapers, and social media. Focus areas include youth empowerment, renewable energy, digital connectivity, and environmental protection. Projects like shea butter cooperatives in Kalaré and green initiatives in Kpalimé and Aného will be featured.
EU representative Stéphane Devaux said the goal is to show that cooperation brings concrete, shared results. Team Europe—including France, Germany, and Luxembourg—has allocated €201 million to support Togo’s sustainable development.
