Michel Gbagbo held a political meeting on Saturday, September 27, in Abobo. He wore a T-shirt from the “Trop c’est trop” movement to denounce government failings.
He confirmed that the major march of the PPA-CI and PDCI coalition will take place on October 4 in Abidjan. Supporters were urged to stage a show of strength against President Alassane Ouattara’s candidacy. The opposition says his bid for a fourth term is unconstitutional. The next day, Michel Gbagbo continued the mobilization in Port-Bouët with other parties and groups.
He denounced the rejection of the candidacies of Laurent Gbagbo, Tidjane Thiam, and Affi N’Guessan. The march route will be announced soon at a press conference.
