Sandra Ablamba Johnson, Minister and Secretary General of the Presidency, won the Grand Prize of Excellence at the 8th Togo Top Impact awards on January 31 in Lomé. The award recognizes careers that make a strong impact and show consistency in public service. The jury praised her work in coordinating government policies and leading reforms. Her efforts improved governance, strengthened collaboration between ministries, and made public action more effective. Sandra Ablamba Johnson is an economist with a doctorate and international training in finance and employment policy.
She started her career in the Ministry of Economy and Finance and joined the Presidency in 2012. She became Minister and Secretary General of the Presidency in 2020. The awards also recognized 20 other leaders, with Alexandre de Souza named Personality of the Year.
