The second phase of the Ardova Handball Premier League 2025 began explosively in Lagos on Tuesday.
The opening day was headlined by a dramatic 26-26 draw between defending champions Tojemarine HBC and rivals COAS Shooters in a tightly contested men’s match.
In the women’s category, defending champions Safety Babes started strong with a dominant 40-27 victory over Rivers Queens. Other notable results saw Imo Grasshoppers edge Rima Queens 28-27 and Omo Ogiefo Academy stun Plateau Peacocks 26-24.
