Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets clinched their 2025 WAFU B U-17 campaign off to a positive start, following their 4-1 victory over the Baby Cheetahs of Benin Republic on Wednesday in Ivory Coast.
The Beninoise came into the fixture looking to register their first points of the competition, after suffering a slim 1-0 defeat at the hands of Baby Stallions of Burkina Faso during their opening group match over the weekend.
