The Black Stars share Pot 4 with teams like Jordan, Cabo Verde, Curaçao and Haiti. Their position reflects their ranking among the lowest-seeded African qualifiers. Stronger African teams such as Morocco and Senegal appear in Pot 2.
Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Côte d’Ivoire and South Africa are all in Pot 3. Ghana could face giants like Spain, Argentina or England from Pot 1. They qualified for the tournament after topping Group I with 25 points.
