Imad Bouchjda delivered a stunning performance in the U20 Men’s 800m final, clocking an impressive 1:49.17 to claim GOLD for Morocco at the African U18 & U20 Championships in Abeokuta!
He held off fierce competition from the traditionally strong Kenyan contingent, while his compatriot Hamid Boutfidi stormed through to take silver, making it a 1-2 finish for Morocco.
Ethiopia rounded out the podium with the bronze medal.
