Nigeria’s Women’s 4x400m shatters Championship Record as Team Strikes GOLD in Style

Team Nigeria’s phenomenal women’s 4x400m quartet of Odot Udo, Toheebat Jimoh, Anita Enaruna, and Favour Onyah lit up the track in Abeokuta, racing to GOLD in a stunning 3:37.02s — breaking the Championship Record that had stood since Ibadan 1997.

They dominated the field, winning by nearly 8 seconds over South Africa, who finished a distant second in 3:44.99s while Kenya finished third in a time of 3:55.18s.

Another golden moment for Nigeria — and a record-breaking one at that!
