Remo Stars have confirmed that midfielder Tochukwu Michael has completed a move to Austrian Bundesliga side Wolfsberger AC, marking the latest step in the young Nigerian’s rise through the ranks of domestic and international football.
The Ikenne-based club announced on Thursday that an agreement in principle had been reached with Wolfsberger, thanking the 21-year-old for his service and wishing him success in Europe.
“Agreement reached in principle for the transfer of Tochukwu Michael to Wolfsberger AC. The club appreciates the midfielder and wishes him a successful time in Austria,” the club posted on its official X account.
Wolfsberger, known as RZ Pellets WAC for sponsorship reasons, confirmed the transfer in a statement earlier, revealing that Michael had signed a three-year contract.
