South Africa’s Mukona Manavhela capped off a sensational outing at the African U18 & U20 Championships by claiming his third GOLD medal, storming to victory in the U-18 Boys’ 200m with a time of 21.29s.
He held off a strong challenge from Nigeria’s Ibrahim Ajibare, who settled for silver in 21.64s, while fellow Nigerian Destiny Egbon took bronze in 21.84s.
Mukona had earlier won gold in 100m U-18 and Relay Medley.
