Côte d’Ivoire has entered a new digital partnership with Beyon Connect and Egypt-based Post Connect to strengthen its national digital infrastructure. The three organisations signed an MoU to introduce secure and scalable digital trust technologies across public and private services.
The project will deploy OneBox, a digital mailbox, and OneID, an advanced identity and eKYC system. A six-month pilot will test how these tools support paperless communication and verified digital transactions. La Poste de Côte d’Ivoire will lead the rollout as part of its mandate to drive digital transformation. Officials say the collaboration aims to boost efficiency, improve citizen access to services, and enhance trust in online interactions.
The initiative also aligns with the government’s long-term digital development agenda. Côte d’Ivoire recently reaffirmed its target to raise the digital sector’s GDP contribution to between 6–8% by 2028.
