Ivory Coast Joins African Energy Bank

Côte d’Ivoire has ratified the African Energy Bank to boost energy independence in Africa. The bank will fund sustainable energy projects, aligning with the country’s goal of 45% renewables by 2030. It was created by APPO and Afreximbank to reduce reliance on foreign financing. This move gives Côte d’Ivoire access to key funding for its national energy strategy.
