Ghana’s Energy Minister, John Jinapor, has commended BOST for improving efficiency and supporting energy sector reforms. Speaking on July 16, 2025, he noted visible progress at BOST and broader energy gains. Plans are underway to extend a fuel pipeline from Ghana to Burkina Faso. The minister praised BOST’s Managing Director, Afetsi Awoonor, for strong leadership.
Jinapor also shared national energy successes from the past seven months. These include stabilised power supply and stronger petroleum reserves. He highlighted efforts to fight corruption and boost transparency. The minister called for unity to sustain progress in the energy sector.
