Ghana’s Technical University Teachers’ Association has issued a seven-day ultimatum to the government over unpaid book and research allowances for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The association says the outstanding payments are putting additional financial pressure on lecturers and could affect academic activities. It has warned that failure to resolve the issue could lead to industrial action.
