Togo will open 30 new General Education Colleges for the 2025-2026 school year. The move aims to meet rising demand for school places nationwide. It is led by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education.
Schools will be spread across all seven educational regions. Rural and peri-urban areas like Toklolo and Barkossi will benefit. Each school will be equipped with modern facilities and resources. Hundreds of trained teachers will be deployed to support the rollout.
The goal is to reduce overcrowding and expand access to quality education.
