The Kumasi Archbishop, Most Rev. Gabriel Justice Anokye, visited the Manhyia Palace on August 13. He prayed for the Asantehene and shared condolences after the Asantehemaa’s death. The delegation also visited the Asantehemaa’s court to comfort the family. Nana Konadu Yiadom III was the sister of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. Her death was confirmed on August 11 by the Oyoko Family.
She became queen mother in 2020 after her mother’s passing. She was loved for her wisdom and service to Asanteman. She stood for unity and tradition in the royal family.
