The Terreau Fertile Association has launched the 5th edition of its “Fertile Solidarity” campaign to deliver free medical care to 1,000 patients across Togo.
The initiative, inaugurated on August 13 in Lomé, targets vulnerable populations with services in ophthalmology, stomatology, and pediatric surgery. Activities will extend to all five regions, including Tandjouaré, Kabou, Kouméa, Mo, Tchamba, Tohoun, and Tabligbo. Patients will benefit from consultations, screenings, cataract operations, dental care, and oral health prevention. Fifty children will also undergo specialized pediatric procedures.
The association seeks to mobilize 46 million FCFA to finance the campaign, scheduled through August and September. According to President Biléyo Donko, the program supports the government’s health policy of equitable access to quality care.
