A national workshop was held from August 19 to 22, 2025, at the University of Lomé. It brought together about 60 participants from Lomé, Kara, and Sokodé.
The event was organized by Togo Digital Agency with support from the GIZ ProDigiT project. Discussions focused on including more women in digital and technology fields. Female tech leaders in Togo shared their experiences to inspire students. A hackathon called EduHer crowned ESGIS as winner, followed by the University of Kara and Defitech.
The winning teams will receive support from Togo Data Lab to develop their projects. A charter was also adopted to create Tech clubs in Togolese universities.
