Nigeria’s U-17 national team, the Golden Eaglets, will be starting their campaign at the West African Football Union regional tournament in Ivory Coast, with an opener against the Baby Cheetahs of Benin Republic on Wednesday.
The fixture, which will be played at the Stade du Lycee Scientifique in Yamoussoukro, will see Nigeria looking to secure the three points on offer while Benin will be eyeing a positive outcome, following their slim 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Baby Stallions of Burkina Faso in their opening group match.
