Tidal Rave Festival is becoming a Pan-African travelling festival. Durban in South Africa and Lagos in Nigeria will join Accra and Monrovia as host cities in 2026. The expansion aims to connect young people across Africa through music, travel, and culture. Organisers say the goal is to help Africans explore and create culture together. A major partnership in Durban will involve the Black Star Experience and South Africa’s National Arts Council. The 2025 Accra edition was a huge success and Monrovia will host the next show in December.
The festival has featured top stars like Ayra Starr, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and King Promise. Tidal Rave is now positioning itself as a leading cultural movement for African youth.
