Save the Children is preparing to celebrate International Children’s Rights Day in Siasso on November 19. The event is being organized in partnership with the Ivorian government and local community groups.
It aims to raise awareness about children’s protection, education, and well-being. Organizers say the celebration will highlight persistent challenges faced by vulnerable children. Workshops and outreach sessions are planned to engage parents and local leaders. The initiative will also showcase progress made through child-focused programmes in the region.
Save the Children hopes the event will strengthen collaboration between civil society and state institutions. The organisation says promoting children’s rights remains essential to Côte d’Ivoire’s long-term development.
