Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has identified Nigeria as one of the favourites to win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be played in Morocco from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026.
Ghana have failed to qualify for the upcoming tournament, and Gyan believes the Super Eagles will be in contention for the title against hosts Morocco and defending champions Ivory Coast. Having just failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico, the Super Eagles are expected to fight for a fourth continental title in Morocco next month.
