Nigeria’s D’Tigers earned their first FIBA World Cup African Qualifiers win Sunday, beating Rwanda 75–69 in overtime in Tunisia.
After a back-and-forth game forced OT at 61–61, Nigeria sealed it 14–8 in the extra period.
In Group C’s other game, Guinea beat hosts Tunisia 66–57.
Standings: Guinea leads (3-0), followed by Tunisia, Nigeria, and Rwanda. Next: Qualifiers resume in July.
