Pan-African Congress Set for Lomé

The 9th Pan-African Congress will finally be held in Lomé from December 8 to 12, 2025. Togo and the African Union officially announced the event and opened registration on November 30.

It will take place at the Palais des Congrès under the theme of renewing Pan-Africanism and Africa’s role in global reforms. Delegates from across Africa, the diaspora, and Afro-descendant communities are expected to attend. Several panels will discuss Africa’s future and reaffirm Pan-Africanist principles. The agenda includes debates on mobilizing resources and strengthening African unity.

Reparations for historical injustices against Africans will also be examined. Participants will review conclusions from earlier regional preparatory meetings held across the continent.
