The University of Félix Houphouët-Boigny has begun digitizing its central academic archives. The project aims to speed up the processing of student records and diploma issuance.
University president Prof. Ballo Zié says the digital shift will improve service quality for students. The central administration and the research and innovation vice-presidency are leading the initiative. The University believes that the system will provide fast, secure, and reliable access to academic information. They also stress that digitizing old documents will protect the university’s institutional memory.
The project is funded by the financial and general affairs directorate. UFHB says the move supports its long-term goal of becoming a modern, fully digital university.
